My message this Christmas season

Last year was a special Christmas for Lori and me as we celebrated the birth of our first grandchild. A December baby gives us a stark reminder about what the holiday season is about and why we celebrate Christmas.

Jesus Christ was God's greatest gift to mankind. Every parent shares the echoes of that gift when their child is born – and that joy is amplified tenfold as a grandparent. We recently learned that our grandson will become a big brother in the new year. The blessings continue to grow, along with our family.

It's been a busy year, and looking back, I have much to be thankful for beyond my family. In my first year of representing the new House District 64, I have forged new friendships and relationships in Wise County and strengthened the bonds here in Denton County.

Together, we have delivered important legislative victories for both counties. That includes my colleagues in the legislature, who have each done their part to help me successfully serve my district and Texas. It's an honor and a privilege to serve.

As I look ahead to a busy 2024 and the campaign season, I am grateful to all the supporters rallying behind my re-election. From signing the endorsement list to giving to the campaign, requesting yard signs, and confirming they will Stick with Stucky in March, so many people are investing in their representation in Austin.

Thank you to everyone who has already offered to host an event at your homes. Thank you to those who have volunteered for our events and will be helping us on the path to victory this Spring. Most of all, thank you to all those who have committed their votes to support my campaign. A vote is priceless and a significant investment in the type of leadership that will serve you in the coming years.

I am honored to have earned the continuous support of my constituents. I look forward to sharing the work I am doing for the next legislative session and how I will keep fighting for you and your families.

God bless you all and God bless Texas! May you enjoy a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
